Couple getaway worth it
Had an amazing jacuzzi tub right in the room and the fireplace added a cozy touch to our stay. The balcony overlooking the harbor was perfect for sipping coffee and watching the ships pass.
it wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the experience, it was acceptable.

Breathtaking, breathtaking, breathtaking.
I had the most incredible time watching the ships glide under the Aerial Lift Bridge right from my cozy Junior Suite Bay View! The binoculars provided were a delightful touch, letting me see all the details of the maritime action. Plus, savoring fresh local pastries for breakfast fueled my adventures perfectly!

we enjoyed an amazing stay at south pier inn during our romantic trip. the views from our junior suite bridge view were breathtaking, especially watching the ships pass by and the lift bridge in action. it really exceeded our expectations compared to our last visit in duluth, making this getaway truly special.

Breathtaking views from the rooms provide an up-close look at the lift bridge and ships passing through the canal. The unique nautical charm in the lobby, coupled with ample outdoor seating, makes it a perfect spot to soak in the scenery.
No pool or hot tub on the premises creates a gap in the amenities for those looking for a comprehensive experience. Limited breakfast options without hot items diminish the morning meal routine, and the lack of sufficient parking might become an inconvenience during peak times. Some rooms felt a bit dated, impacting overall visual comfort.

perfect spot for exploring duluth's attractions and parks
I had a wonderful experience with a balcony offering breathtaking views of the aerial lift bridge and canal, providing the perfect backdrop for my stay. the hotel's proximity to canal park made it super easy to stroll to shops and restaurants while being just steps away from the waterfront attractions like the great lakes aquarium and bayfront festival park.

The bridge view from our junior suite was breathtaking, creating a perfect backdrop for our stay. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel valued during our one-night visit.
For the amount paid per night, the overall experience felt slightly lacking.

Perfect views and comfy stay
We spent 2 nights in a Queen Room with a balcony and loved it! The view was incredible, we could see the ships glide by. The staff were super friendly and even called us when ships were coming! Breakfast was solid too, especially the coffee. Just wish the balcony had a better view.

We loved our stay at this cozy spot with a fantastic view of Lake Superior. Our family enjoyed the private 400-foot shoreline path and the stunning sunset. The room was spacious and clean, making it a perfect retreat after a day exploring Duluth with friends.
My kids wished there was a pool to splash around in after long days of sightseeing. A little more family-friendly amenities could make the stay even better.
